Renée & Marcus are having a wedding!
St Audrie's Park, Somerset
How One Right Swipe
Changed Everything
For those who don’t know the full story, it didn’t begin with a meet-cute in a library or a lingering glance across a crowded room—it started on Tinder. After Marcus did a fair bit of dilly-dallying before our first date, we finally met… and it was love at first sight.

Five weeks later, Renée returned to the U.S., and just eight days after that, Marcus followed. What was supposed to be a short visit quickly turned into something more—Marcus paid a little extra to keep his return flight flexible, and a week became a month, and a month became three (the exact number of days he was allowed to stay). The rest, as they say, is history.

After three years of long distance while Marcus completed his degree, followed by nine more months of him working in London as we waited for his visa, everything finally fell into place. On January 31, 2025, Marcus made the move to New York—and we haven’t looked back since.
